Searching For Parties

# Search By Display Name

The search component can be displayed by clicking on the magnifying glass in the menu bar. Simply enter part of a display name in the search box, and click the black search button. A list of results will be shown below. If you click on the result, it will display the details of that party.

# Filters

There are a set of filters below the search box. Initally there are no filters for the types of parties in AuthorizationHub. If you click the X on one if the types, the search results will be filtered to omit that party type.

# Relationship Filters

Sometimes you want to see all the people or roles with relationships to an organization. If the relationship ended in the past, it won't show up in the organizational tree, so you need to use a relationship filter. As an example, lets say you wanted to find all the members of the Marketing department.

The first step would be to search for the Marketing department. To the right of the search result is the add filter button. Click it to add that party's relationships as a filtering criteria. In the Include box, you can see we have a button for members of marketing. We can clear the search box, and hit the search button. This will provide us a list of all the members of Marketing.
